We begin the course with a look at Vermeer, by learning how to capture soft folds of fabric through a range of tonal values and blending of sketching pencils.

This week, we capture form & drama with a look at Michaelangelo style hands.

 
 
 

WEEK THREE

Taking inspiration from John Singer Sargent’s unique style, we will be creating 1920 style portraits with charcoal.

 
 
 

WEEK FOUR & FIVE

WEEK FOUR: This week, we start our Da Vinci artist study using soft pastels by plotting out the proportions.
WEEK FIVE: We complete our Da Vinci artist study by applying tonal values and create texture with soft pastels.

 
 
 

WEEK SIX

We complete the drawing course with bright pops of colour & mark-making to create Money inspired garden studies.
