WEEK ONE

We begin the course by using either The Grid Method, or Free-Hand drawing to sketch your orangutan on the canvas. We will then apply a muted acrylic wash ready for the Underpainting.

WEEK TWO

This week, we will use very thinned out Burnt Umber to establish tonal value for our underpainting.

WEEK THREE

This week, we will block in colour values using semi-thinned oil paint.

WEEK FOUR

We will finish our orangutan paintings this week by applying final fine detail with Rigger Brushes.
